May 11, 2009 Dear Star Legacy, I just wanted to let you know how pleased my family and I were when we saw our Mother's casket. It was the 'Mom Remembered' model and was very nice. Even the funeral director commented that a similar one purchased from them would have cost $3250. I ordered it at 4:00p.m. on Wednesday and it was delivered before 2:00 p.m. Thursday. Having never ordered a casket online, I had some reservations, but I decided to give it a try. My father and I looked at a few websites, and finally decided upon Star Legacy. February 1, 2008 I'm writing this note to say THANK YOU Star Legacy for being there for me and my family during the most difficult time in our lives. We lost our Dear Mother three weeks ago today, and I cannot express to you how thankful we were to stumble upon your website. I was searching the web when I located "Star Legacy" and when I started to view the prices I could not believe what I was looking at! I initially thought this could not be a legitimate Company. October 2007 Hi, I would really like to "THANK" the customer service rep "Rick" for his assistance during my time of need. He was instrumental in assisting me and making phone calls to to various competitive vendors in an effort to help me in a last minute effort to locate and have delivered on time, an Oversized Casket for my mother's remains. I had originally ordered a casket from Star Legacy on Thursday 10/11/07 @ 4:30 PM (EST) for a Friday 10/12/07 delivery. Star made this happen. However, on Friday, 10/12/07 @ approx. 9:00am I received a call from the funeral director informing me that my mother's remains would require an "Oversized Casket". I immediately called Star Legacy - left a voice mail and was called back within minutes - when all was said and done, Star Legacy had called another vendor, located within a one hour drive from Boston that was able to provide a casket with the specified dimensions and ironically the company had a scheduled delivery to the funeral home on Friday afternoon.  Rick really went above and beyond when he established a 3-way conference call with the vendor and made the introduction before leaving the conversation. Again, I am writing this note to express my "Sincere Appreciation and Thanks" and the very professional and caring manner in which Star provided assistance. February  2007 Dear Star Legacy, My family and I are completely satisfied with the service and quality of product that we received from Star Legacy. We saved a considerable amount of money by buying on-line and was able to purchase a better quality casket. When we first called to clarify the color of a casket, the staff went to great detail to describe the exact color to me and then e-mailed a PDF file of it to portray the most accurate color. I also requested that the delivery be made to a residence instead of the Funeral Home. Star Legacy's customer service people called me several times during the delivery scheduling process to make sure the delivery would occur as agreed upon. When it was discovered that FedEX would have to change trucks to deliver as requested and there would be an additional charge, Star Legacy picked up the additional shipping charges.
